I love giving gifts to friends and family. What I didn't like was the time it took to find a unique gift that wasn't like everyone else's. I like to make my gifts personal and want them to be valued for years to come. Yet, I didn't want an overly expensive gift. I also wanted my gift to be enjoyed day in and day out, not forgotten in a drawer somewhere. I searched for weeks to come up with an idea that would meet my wants and needs. Finally, I found a way to turn one's favorite or proudest memory into wall art that everyone would be proud to display. I discovered this with my photo-to-canvas watercolor.
